How can I set up multi-condition rates for delivery and pickup?
Bird App supports multi-condition rates, allowing you to combine multiple criteria simultaneously for precise rate control across delivery, pickup, and shipping services.
Set up location-based zones
Create delivery zones for different areas of your city:
- Duplicate your store location in Bird App settings to create subzones
- Assign specific postal codes to each subzone
- Configure unique rates for each zone
Your duplicated locations share inventory with the central area but allow separate delivery rates and schedules. When customers enter their postal code, Bird Pickup Delivery Date automatically applies the correct rate for their zone.
Configure multi-condition rates
After creating your zones, you can combine the criteria below for each location:
- Order Value - Set minimum and maximum price thresholds
- Weight - Define rates based on order weight in grams
- Day of Week - Apply different rates for weekdays vs weekends (e.g., $10 for Monday-Friday, $15 for weekends)
- Time of Day - Configure rates for specific periods or peak hours
- Rush/Urgency - Adjust rates for same-day or next-day delivery (Min Days 0 for today, Max Days 1 for tomorrow)
- Date Ranges - Apply seasonal rates for holidays or special events
- Product SKUs - Target individual products or product groups
Complete rate setup
Follow these detailed configuration guides:
