Configure shipping settings to control delivery options and manage your shipping calendar effectively.


Standard Shipping offers carrier delivery to supported addresses. Customers can select delivery dates and times for shipped orders.


Access Shipping Settings


Navigate to Bird App Settings > Shipping in your dashboard.

Enable Standard Shipping


  1. Locate the Standard Shipping toggle in your shipping settings
  2. Click the toggle to Enable standard shipping for your store
  3. Save your changes

Manage Shipping Calendar


Configure your delivery schedule to control when customers can select shipping dates.


  1. Navigate to the Shipping Calendar section in your Bird App shipping settings.
  2. Set Available Delivery Days: Choose which days of the week you want to offer shipping (e.g., Monday to Friday).
  3. Set Delivery Time Windows: Specify the time ranges when deliveries can be made (e.g., 9am–5pm).
  4. Configure Date Restrictions or Blackout Periods: Block out holidays or dates when shipping is unavailable.
  5. Click Save to apply your calendar settings.

Preview Widget Changes


Verify your shipping configurations appear correctly by previewing the widget after saving changes.


  1. Navigate to App Settings > Shipping
  2. Make your desired configuration changes
  3. Click Save to apply all changes
  4. Click Widget Preview to see your updated configuration


The widget preview appears in the top right corner of the Bird App. Use this feature to simulate any date and time to test your advanced rules.

That's it! Your shipping widget now reflects your updated configuration.

  1. Configure Availability Settings - Set your store's delivery schedule and calendar availability
  2. Configure Order Preparation Times - Set time required to prepare orders and day-specific cut-off times
  3. Block Dates from Calendar - Disable specific dates to prevent customer selection
  4. Block Shipping Using Product Availability - Restrict shipping to specific products
  5. Configure Shipping Rates - Set up rates for different zones and delivery methods
