Enable stuart and test connection

  1. Configure how deliveries work
  • Locations: Choose which store locations are eligible for Stuart and set contact details.
  • Packaging: Pick the default package size and add weight‑based rules (so quotes and pickups are accurate).
  • Tracking: Choose whether to add tracking to Shopify and send tracking emails to customers.

Configure Stuart Settings

  1. Use it on orders
  • When an eligible order is ready, the app sends it to Stuart for pickup and delivery.
  • Tracking details are stored on the order, and (if enabled) shared with customers.
  • You’ll see clear success/error messages if something needs attention.

Tips

  • If a Stuart job fails, we automatically email the address you set in Stuart Integration Settings.
  • Make sure the destination address and phone number are present to avoid courier rejections.
  • Keep package dimensions/weights realistic—this improves price accuracy and on‑time pickups.
  • Ensure each enabled location has a valid contact name and phone for courier issues.
  • Use the Test Connection button anytime to verify credentials after changing them.

Merchant benefits

  • Faster, hands‑off local delivery with a trusted courier network.
  • Clear tracking for your team and your customers—fewer “where is my order?” tickets.
  • Flexible packaging and weight rules for accurate pricing and fewer delivery issues.
  • Works directly inside your existing Bird Pickup & Delivery setup—no extra tools to learn.
