How to Integrate the Bird app with Shopify POS
2-Step Process
Add Bird App tile to POS app (1st Time only)
Use Bird App to add date/time to an Order in POS
Important Update: After February 28, 2025, Shopify no longer supports the legacy POS app links. If you are currently using the old POS links, please switch to the new POS tiles. After February 28, 2025, you will no longer be able to use the legacy POS links.
Add Bird App tile to POS app
Open Shopify POS
Click Add Tile > App > Bird Pickup Delivery
Select Bird Order Details (POS UI extension)
Click Save

Use Bird App to add date/time to an Order in POS
Open Bird Pickup Delivery (DateTime Picker) Tile.
Select Your respective method for Order (Shipping / Delivery / Pick Up)

Below Fields Are optional. You can Click and select applicable details that you require on your current order.
Location: Click Location > Choose Location, from where you want to Fulfil current order. (Applicable on Delivery / Pickup)
Date: Click Date > Choose preferred Date for current order.
Start Time: Click Start Time > Choose a preferred time slot for current order.
End Time: Click End Time > Choose a preferred time slot (It creates a specific time range from start time to end Time) for current order.
Save

Selected Order information will now be attached to your cart, and will be available under 'Additional Details' in Shopify Orders.
