Is it possible to sort orders in the main Shopify order list by the delivery date selected in your app?

Yes, you can filter orders by delivery date in Shopify Admin using order tags.


Bird Pickup & Delivery automatically tags orders with delivery information when Order Tagging is enabled. This allows you to filter orders directly in the Shopify order list.


Prerequisites:


  1. Go to Bird App Settings > Order Management.
  2. Enable Order Tagging.


To filter by delivery date in Shopify Admin:


  1. Navigate to Orders > All orders in Shopify Admin.
  2. Click the Search and filter icon.
  3. Select Add filter.
  4. Choose Tagged with from the dropdown.
  5. Select the delivery date tag you need.

Alternative: Use Bird App for better experience


For a more powerful order management experience with date pickers and multiple simultaneous filters, sort and filter orders in the Bird App dashboard instead. This provides advanced sorting by delivery date, creation date, and additional filters for delivery method, location, and order status.
