What happens when I reach my monthly order limit?

You have two straightforward options when you reach your plan's order limit: upgrade to unlock enhanced limits and features or enable per-order billing to stay on your current plan.

When you reach your monthly order limit, checkout continues functioning but scheduled dates won't be reflected. Here are your options:

  1. Upgrade your plan - Unlock enhanced order limit, advanced rate controls, priority support and a lot more through our subscription options
  2. Enable per-order billing - Pay USD 0.05 for each order beyond your limit while keeping your current plan

How per-order billing works

Per-order billing becomes available automatically when you reach 85% of your monthly limit. Here's how to activate it:

  1. Navigate to the Subscriptions page in your Bird App
  2. Click the Update Limit button to enable per-order billing
  3. Set your monthly spending cap to control costs
  4. Pay USD 0.05 for each order that exceeds your plan limit

Free plan limitations

Free plans allow only 20 orders per 30 days. When you hit this limit:

  • The app automatically disables
  • Upgrade to a paid plan to continue immediately
  • Alternatively, wait for the 30-day cycle to reset automatically

Extended periods without action

If you don't upgrade or enable billing when consistently exceeding your order limits for several months, our system automatically disables your store. This prevents the widget from functioning until you either upgrade your plan or resolve outstanding billing requirements.
