How are orders counted toward my plan's monthly limit?
An order is counted toward your monthly limit only when Bird Pickup & Delivery functionality is used to schedule delivery or pickup details. The system tracks an order when custom attributes like location, date, and time are saved through the app.
Orders count toward your limit when customers or staff interact with these Bird Pickup & Delivery features:
- Online Store Checkout Widget: When customers select delivery/pickup method, date, and time through the cart widget
- Shopify POS Tile: When staff adds delivery or pickup details using the Date and Time Picker Tile
- Bird App Dashboard: When you create or edit draft orders and assign delivery methods, dates, and times
Even cancelled or refunded orders count toward your monthly usage because they were tracked when created with scheduling data.
Orders placed through standard Shopify checkout or Express checkout options (Shop Pay, PayPal) that bypass the cart page do not count toward your limit. This includes orders for digital products like gift cards where the widget was hidden.
