Ready for pickup and dispatch email notification
This guide helps Shopify store owners notify customers instantly when orders are ready for pickup or dispatch, improving customer experience and reducing order status inquiries.
From Shopify
From Bird App
Navigate to the Orders section in your Shopify and open the Order
Click on More Actions and Bird: Mark Ready option
A popup will appear showing the order and delivery details
Click the Mark ready for pickup or Mark ready for delivery button depending on the delivery method
A notification email will be sent to the customers.
Go to orders page in our app
Mark all the orders that are ready for pickup.
Click on Actions.
Click on Mark as ready for pickup.
Note: Mark as Ready for pickup will work only for pickup orders and not for delivery orders.
Go to orders page in our app
Mark a single order or all the orders that are ready for dispatch.
Click on Actions.
Click on Mark as dispatched.
Once the above steps are followed, an Out for Delivery email will be sent to the customer.
Note: Mark as Dispatched will work only for delivery orders and not for pickup orders.

Navigate to the Orders section in your Shopify and open the Order
Click on More Actions and Bird: Mark Ready option

How to send ready for pickup email?
Go to orders page in our app
Mark all the orders that are ready for pickup.
Click on Actions.
Click on Mark as ready for pickup.
Note: Mark as Ready for pickup will work only for pickup orders and not for delivery orders.
How to send Ready for Dispatch email?
Go to orders page in our app
Mark a single order or all the orders that are ready for dispatch.
Click on Actions.
Click on Mark as dispatched.
Once the above steps are followed, an Out for Delivery email will be sent to the customer.
