Ready for pickup and dispatch email notification

This guide helps Shopify store owners notify customers instantly when orders are ready for pickup, dispatched, picked up, or delivered improving customer experience and reducing order status inquiries. This can be done via Shopify Orders or the Bird App Orders page.

Method 1: From Shopify Orders Section



Send a Ready for Pickup or Dispatch/Delivery email:



Navigate to the Orders section in your Shopify and open the Order.

Click on More Actions and Bird: Mark Ready option.



A popup will appear showing the order and delivery details.



Click the Mark ready for pickup or Mark ready for delivery button depending on the delivery method.

A notification email will be sent to the customers.

Method 2: From Bird App Dashboard



Send a Ready for Pickup, Dispatched/Delivery or Picked Up/Delivered email:



Go to the orders page in your Bird app.

Mark a single order or all the orders that are Ready for pickup, dispatch or already picked up/delivered.

Click on Mark as ready for pickup, Mark as dispatched or Mark as picked up/delivered option accordingly.




Once these steps are completed, a notification email will be sent to the customer, informing them about the status of their order.
