Pick Up Orders labelled as deliveries in Shopify Admin
Hi there,
I just wanted to flag something we have noticed with pickup orders in the system.
For example, in order #13311, the order is a Store Pick Up, however the details on the right hand side still show “Delivery Date”, “Delivery Day”, and a delivery time window.
This has been a bit confusing for our staff when preparing orders, as it reads like a delivery even though it is actually a pickup.
It would make much more sense for pickup orders to be labelled accordingly throughout, so the details reflect that it is a pickup rather than a delivery.
Just wanted to bring this to your attention as it would help streamline things on our end and avoid any confusion.

Hi there,
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely consider this while planning our new features. Though the Delivery Date / Time serve the same purpose for different type of orders I definitely get the confusions in doing so.

Hi there,
Thanks so much for flagging this — fully agree, mixed labels on a pickup order are confusing for staff, and we want to fix that for you.
Good news: in our newly launched widget v2, order details now render as a dedicated block that labels the order correctly — so a Store Pickup shows "Pickup", the store name, the pickup date/time, and the pickup code, with no "Delivery" wording.
Step 1 — Enable v2 in the Bird app:
Bird app → Settings → Widget Placement → Enable v2
Step 2 — Add the order details block in Shopify:
1. Open any order in your Shopify admin
2. Scroll down and click '+ Add block'
3. Add the Bird: Order Details block
4. Save — it now shows on every order
Once added, pickup orders will display as "Pickup" with the right fields (no "Delivery Date / Day" labels).
