How can I prevent the customer's name from being included in the title of the Google Calendar event?

Yes, you can customize your Google Calendar event templates to control what information appears in event titles. This feature requires a Premium plan and allows you to modify which details display in your calendar events.

Remove Customer Names from Event Titles

  1. Navigate to Bird App Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar
  2. Click Edit next to "Customize the text of Google Calendar events"
  3. In the Google Calendar summary field, locate the customer name variables
  4. Remove the text containing {{customer.first_name}} {{customer.last_name}} and the phrase " - Customer Name: "
  5. Click Save to apply changes

Calendar events now display without customer names in the title. All customer details remain available in the event description if needed.
