Update Order Delivery Details in Existing Order
Add or modify delivery details for existing orders using two methods.
Add delivery dates to orders without them. Update existing delivery details anytime. Both methods notify customers automatically. Works for all orders regardless of status.
When to Use Each Method
- Bird App: Use for direct control and immediate access to all Bird-specific features
- Shopify Admin: Use when you prefer to stay within Shopify's interface
Via Bird App
Add or update order details directly in the Bird App for immediate control.
- Open the Bird App dashboard
- Click Orders in the navigation menu
- Locate the target order in your orders list
- Click the pencil icon on the order line to add delivery details to orders without dates

- Click directly on the existing date to update existing delivery details

- In the popup window, select or modify shipping method
- Choose or change delivery date
- Set or adjust delivery time
- Enable Send notification to customer if needed
- Click Submit

- Verify the updates, reload the page if necessary

Via Shopify Admin
Add or update order delivery details directly from Shopify Admin for seamless integration.
- Open Shopify Admin
- Click Orders in the left sidebar
- Select the target order from your orders list
- Click More actions (three dots icon)
- Select Bird: Order Details

- Review current details in the popup showing delivery method, date, and time
- Add or modify delivery details as needed
- Click Save Details

- Select Notify customer to enable customer notification
- Confirm changes - the system automatically updates the order and sends an Order Updated email
