Hide, rename or reorder delivery rates at checkout

Checkout can show more rates than you want, in the wrong order or with unclear names. Delivery customizations hide, rename, reorder or sort the rates customers see, including Shopify’s own rates and pickup.

Add a delivery customization

1. Go to Delivery customizations and select Add customization.
2. Under What to do, select Change and pick an action:
   • Hide: Hide all delivery methods, Hide specific delivery methods, Hide delivery methods of type or Hide delivery methods not of type.
   • Show: Show only specific delivery methods, Show only the cheapest rate or Show only the highest rate.
   • Arrange: Move to top, Move to bottom, Reorder to a specific position, or sort by cost.
   • Rename: Rename delivery methods, then enter the New name.
3. Under Which rates, choose Name is exactly or Name contains and add the rate names as customers see them. For a type action, pick Delivery types instead.
4. Optional: under Conditions, select Add condition to run it only for some checkouts.
5. Optional: enter a Name for this change. Only you see it.
6. Select Save, then Review & publish to turn it on.

Change or remove a customization

1. Go to Delivery customizations.
2. Select a customization to edit it, or open its actions to delete it.
3. Select Review & publish to turn the change on.

Troubleshooting

• A shipping rate won’t move to the top: a shipping rate can’t be first if a cheaper one is offered.
• Check the result: select Test checkout. Rates you hid show Hidden by a customization, and renamed rates show Renamed.
