Payment Rules – Hiding Payment Methods

The Payment Rules feature allows you to hide specific payment methods in your Shopify checkout based on the selected delivery method and store location. This helps ensure customers see only the relevant payment options for their chosen fulfillment method.

How to Create a Payment Rule

1. Go to Bird App Settings > Payment Rules
2. Click the Add button
3. Type the exact name of the payment method that should be hidden at checkout.
4. Select the Delivery Method: Local Delivery, Pickup or Shipping
5. Select the Location: **Apply the rule to **All Locations or choose a specific store location.
6. Click Save to activate the payment restriction.

Use Case Example

• Hide "Cash on Delivery" for Local Delivery while keeping it available for Pickup orders.
• Restrict "Bank Transfer" payment for specific store locations.
