Can customers select a time slot that has already started?

Yes, customers can select time slots that have already started by enabling the “Extend Slot Visibility” feature. This allows time slots to remain visible until the end of their duration.
To enable this feature:
- Go to Bird Settings
- Check your schedule configuration:
- If you have “I have different schedule for different store locations” selected, temporarily switch to “I have same schedule for all my store locations”
- If you already have “I have same schedule for all my store locations” selected, proceed to step 3
- Navigate to Pickup and Delivery options
- Choose your relevant fulfillment method and click “Edit Settings”
- Scroll below “Configure Availability” to find “Extend Slot Visibility”
- Turn this option on for your desired fulfillment method
- If you switched settings in step 2, switch back to “I have different schedule for different store locations”
You can enable this for both pickup and delivery methods. To disable the feature, follow the same steps but turn off the “Extend Slot Visibility” option instead.
