Stuart Integration: Last-Mile Delivery with Bird App

  1. Connect Stuart
    • Go to Settings → Integrations → Stuart.
    • Enter your Stuart API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret, Environment).
    • Click Test Connection. When it succeeds, click Save to enable the integration. Enable stuart and test connection
  2. Configure how deliveries work
    • Locations: Choose which store locations are eligible for Stuart and set contact details.
    • Packaging: Pick the default package size and add weight‑based rules (so quotes and pickups are accurate).
    • Tracking: Choose whether to add tracking to Shopify and send tracking emails to customers.

Configure Stuart Settings


  1. Use it on orders
    • When an eligible delivery order is marked dispatched, the app sends it to Stuart for pickup and delivery.
    • Tracking details are stored on the order, and (if enabled) shared with customers.
    • You’ll see clear success/error messages if something needs attention.

Tips

  • If a Stuart job fails, we automatically email the address you set in Stuart Integration Settings.
  • Make sure the destination address and phone number are present to avoid courier rejections.
  • Keep package dimensions/weights realistic—this improves price accuracy and on‑time pickups.
  • Ensure each enabled location has a valid contact name and phone for courier issues.
  • Use the Test Connection button anytime to verify credentials after changing them. Merchant benefits
