How to block dates from calendar?
Consider the following Scenarios:
- Your store is open some days of the week but not others.
- You do not offer local delivery on some occasions.
In the above scenarios, you can block such days so that customers cannot select them for store pickup, local delivery, or shipment.
To configure it, follow the steps below:
- Go to Bird App Settings
- Click on Pickup & Delivery > Edit Settings
- Scroll to Blockout dates settings within configure availability
- Now select the date and time range and click on add button.
Now you can see which date has been blocked in the list. You can modify this settings anytime.

Previewing the Widget After Saving Changes
To ensure your widget configurations appear as intended, you can preview the widget after saving your changes. This allows you to verify that all settings are correctly applied.
Steps to Preview:
- Navigate to the App Settings > Pickup & Delivery/Configure locations/Shipping
- Scroll to Blockout dates settings and make the desired changes.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- After saving, click the Widget Preview option to view the widget with the updated settings.
