Can I set up rush order fees or Saturday delivery surcharges?

You can add conditional fees in Bird App using rate conditions for Delivery, Pickup, or Shipping. See the overview in How to Control Pickup, Delivery & Shipping Rates.
Day-Based Surcharges (e.g., Saturday/Weekend)
- Navigate to Bird > Rates. Ensure you’ve completed the Rates Wizard.
- Open your rate configuration and add a new rate.
- Choose the Day condition.
- Set the start day and end day (e.g., Saturday → Sunday) and apply a higher price.
Rush/Urgency Fees (same-day or next-day)
- In the rate, select the Rush/Urgency condition.
- Set Min Days and Max Days.
- For same-day/next-day, use Min Days = 0 (Today) and Max Days = 1 (Tomorrow).
Combine multiple conditions
Use Multiple conditions to combine price, day/time, weight, etc. This flexibility is available in Bird App (not in Shopify Admin rates).
