How can I offer free delivery above a certain order value?

Yes. Create a Price-based rate with a Rate amount of 0 for orders above your threshold, and a second rate for orders below it.

This works the same way for Delivery, Shipping and Pickup rates.

Set up free delivery above an order value

1. In the Bird app, go to Rates and add a rate in the Delivery section.
2. In Based on, choose Price.
3. Set Min Price to your threshold (for example, 50) and leave Max Price blank for no limit.
4. Set Rate amount to 0. A blank amount also saves as 0.
5. Add a second Price rate for orders below the threshold: Min Price 0, Max Price just under your threshold (for example, 49.99), and your standard delivery fee.

Customers now see free delivery once their cart reaches your threshold. For pickup, follow the same steps in Pickup Rates.

Free delivery vs. minimum order value

Free delivery still lets customers check out below the threshold; they just pay the standard fee. If you want to block checkout below a value instead, set a Minimum Order Value. For more rate examples, see Rates Overview.
