Updated June 26, 2026
Yes, you can customize your Google Calendar event templates to control what information appears in event titles. This feature requires a Scale plan and allows you to modify which details display in your calendar events.
Remove Customer Names from Event Titles
- Navigate to Bird App Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar
- Click Edit next to “Customize the text of Google Calendar events”
- In the Google Calendar summary field, locate the customer name variables
- Remove the text containing
{{customer.first_name}} {{customer.last_name}}and the phrase ” - Customer Name: “ - Click Save to apply changes
Calendar events now display without customer names in the title. All customer details remain available in the event description if needed.
