Express checkout buttons hidden on cart page when Bird widget is active
Bird Pickup & Delivery now stops express checkout buttons, like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, from skipping the pickup or delivery date. Customers pick their date and time in the cart first, so orders don’t arrive without one.
Where to set it
Bird Settings > Validations > Validate selections
Things to know
- With Validate selections on, the express buttons in the cart stay greyed out until the customer has picked a date and time. Then they work as normal.
- Shopify’s Buy it now button is hidden wherever the Bird widget shows, so customers add to cart instead.
- Customers can still pay with express options on the checkout page itself.
