Big news for Bird Pickup & Delivery merchants in Australia: Go People is here. Offer same-day delivery by Go People’s couriers, with no drivers of your own, and Bird books the courier and tracks every delivery for you.

Bird Settings > Integrations > Last Mile Delivery > Go People
Example
A bakery in Melbourne sets Cake as its package type, so every order is priced and carried as a cake. When the baker marks an order Dispatched in Bird, Go People sends a courier.
Things to know
- Go People joins Uber Direct as a courier for Australian stores.
- Pick the package type that fits what you sell, including Flowers, Cake and Donuts, so Go People prices each delivery correctly.
- Show Go People’s live price at checkout, offer free delivery over a set order amount, or add your own handling fee.
- Delivery status updates are set up for you when you connect, with nothing extra to copy.
- Orders go to Go People when you mark them Dispatched in Bird, not when they’re placed.
- Showing Go People’s live price at checkout needs Shopify’s carrier-calculated shipping on your store.
