Order lifecycle automation with Shopify Flow
Bird Pickup & Delivery order statuses can now update themselves with Shopify Flow. Mark orders ready for pickup, out for delivery or complete automatically when something else happens in your store, like a tag being added or an order being fulfilled. Less clicking through orders one by one, and your customers still get their updates right on time.
What’s new
- Actions: Order ready for pickup, Order out for delivery, Order complete
- Trigger: Order edited, which starts a workflow when an order’s pickup or delivery details are edited in Bird
Where to set it
Bird Settings > Integrations > Shopify Flow
Example
When your team adds the tag “packed” to a pickup order, Flow marks it ready for pickup in Bird, the same as clicking it in the dashboard.
Things to know
- Ready for pickup works on pickup orders only, and out for delivery on delivery orders only.
- Order complete works once a pickup order is marked ready, or a delivery order is marked out for delivery. It doesn’t apply to shipping orders.
- Orders that already have that status are skipped.
