Feature
Subscription renewal dates for Appstle and Loop
Big news for Bird Pickup & Delivery merchants who sell subscriptions: Bird now connects directly to Appstle and Loop and moves each renewal order’s delivery date forward automatically. Until now, a renewal could carry the first order’s date and fall further behind with every cycle.

Where to set it
Bird Settings > Integrations > Subscription, then open Appstle Subscriptions or Loop Subscriptions and paste your API key.
Example
A florist sells a weekly bouquet subscription through Loop. The first order is booked for Friday 6 November. When the next renewal comes in, Bird moves its delivery date to Friday 13 November, on the order in Shopify and on the subscription in Loop.
Things to know
- Recharge already works this way and sits in the same Subscription tab.
- You can email customers their new delivery date each time a subscription renews, and edit the email’s wording.
- Subscription logs list every date change, so you can see what moved and when.
- If a renewal’s new date has already passed, for example after a paused subscription, Bird emails you so you can set a new one.
- Your API key needs read and write access, because Bird writes the new date back to the subscription.
- Already moving these dates with Shopify Flow? Turn that workflow off after connecting, so a date doesn’t move twice.
