Google Sheets links accepted for location import

Bird Pickup & Delivery merchants with many stores can now import their locations straight from Google Sheets. Paste the sheet’s share link and Bird adds every location in one go, with no CSV file to download and re-upload.

Where to set it

Bird Settings > Locations > Import locations

Example

A grocer opening six new pickup points keeps them in a shared Google Sheet. They paste the sheet’s link into Import locations, click Start import, and all six appear in Bird.

Things to know

• Download the sample file from the same page to get the right columns. Store Name, Address 1, City and Country Code are required.
• Set the sheet so anyone with the link can view it, and put your locations on the first tab.
• A link Bird can’t read is flagged straight away, with a message saying why.
• A Shopify Files link to a CSV still works too.
