Weight-based delivery rates
Good news for Bird Pickup & Delivery merchants: you can now set delivery prices by order weight, so heavier orders are priced closer to what they really cost to deliver.
Where to set it
Bird Settings > Rates, then add a rate and choose Weight under Based on.
Example
A grocer charges $5 delivery for orders up to 10 kg and $12 for heavier orders, using two weight-based rates.
Things to know
- Set a minimum and maximum weight for each rate, and add as many rates as you need.
- Weights use the weight unit you choose in your rate settings.
- Combine weight with other conditions, like order value or the delivery day, using Multiple conditions.
