Method or location specific discount codes
Good news for Bird Pickup & Delivery merchants: discounts can now be tied to a delivery method, so a pickup deal stays a pickup deal. Bird adds the discount when a customer chooses that method, and takes it off again if they switch.
Where to set it
Bird Settings > Discounts > Add
Example
A bakery offers 10% off pickup orders at its Boston Warehouse location. Customers who choose pickup there get the discount automatically. If they switch to shipping, it comes off.
Things to know
- Link a code you made in Shopify to Pick up, Delivery or Shipping, and Bird adds it to the cart when the customer chooses that method.
- Discounts you create in Bird can also be limited to one location.
- A code the customer typed in themselves stays in the cart.
